Well, I mean, legally he cannot due to diplomatic immunity status, but in the past there haven’t been any consequences for illegally arresting a foreign diplomat so GET HIM!

Diplomatic immunity can be revoked, even outside of the Lethal Weapon 2 method. The question will be whether a state or a city has to respect (blatantly corrupt) federal designations when it applies to a someone with an international warrant who brags about his crimes.

And, quite frankly, the threat might be enough to make him stay away.

And he’ll still be arrested, he’ll just eventually be freed. He can rot in jail until then. Dump him in general pop.

Or take a page from the fascists and put him on a plane to a friendly jurisdiction before any lawyer can get in front of a judge. Except this would be sending a war criminal to justice instead of whisking a gardener away from his volunteer counsel.

If only Mr. Mamdani’s behaviour was the default among politicians we’d live in a far better world
