    Putin may have to choose between liberalism and communism in the foreseeable future. I hope he chooses wisely, if so.

      I’m mostly optimistic to see what happens in Russia after Putin is gone. In a way the war being somewhat painful for Russia might be a good thing because it could create an opening for the communist party.

        You put me in a catch-22 with thoughts and feels. On one hand, I’m glad Russia has a strong leader in the current conflict, and now it’s not a good time to have to switch presidencies. On the other, it can’t happen soon enough.

        I love fn growth experiences. My patience is certainly getting a full workout in multiple situations.

          Living through the current times is definitely a huge emotional roller-coaster. It’s still better than the world when the US was the undisputed hegemon and there was no possibility of positive change. So, in that sense we’ve already moved to a better place geopolitically.

          I think it’d be good if China inspired revolutionary movements. I definitely don’t think China should be using the same tactics as the burger reich though.
