As an autistic person, I feel like a lot of autistic symptoms are actually trauma symptoms
Given how our society is structured can really separate the two? Most autistic people will have extensive trauma due to capitalism and ableism.
I hope you can get the space and time required to disentangle the two.
Ugh, I just got got by a Mercouris deepfake. Completely fabricated by some slop prompter.
China BLOCKS US Carrier Group Entry to South China Sea — Two-Ocean Crisis America Cannot Manage
China has just blocked a US carrier strike group from entering the South China Sea. With America already stretched to its limits in the Middle East, Washington is now facing a two-ocean crisis it has no strategy to manage. In this breakdown, a 30-year military analyst walks you through exactly how China executed this intercept, what the PLAN blocking formation reveals about Beijing’s long-term planning, and why every American response option carries consequences the current political environment cannot absorb. The Carl Vinson is holding position. The clock is running. And the alliance architecture that has anchored American Pacific primacy for seventy years is being tested in real time.
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

has anyone read this?
Damn, compradore literature. Haven’t heard about this one before. Just checked the author on wikipedia, seems like a typical writer in the “Liberal Activism” hustle circle of America inter-uniparty fighting, with a particular taste for exploiting the country’s racial bigotry against her own racial make-up (second gen Chinese immigrant).
Sean Foo just pointed out that the us economy is so precarious that they can only do strikes on Iran over the weekend when the market is closed and it made me laugh really hard.
I hate the fact that, in scifi book reading circles 1984 novel has become a standard of “dystopia”. I can’t escape it.
It’s literally everywhere and I hate it.
It’s not even a good book, never mind the author being… bleugh.
…a sex pest?
…an anarchist?
…abusive?
…voyeuristic and paranoic?
…rapist? snitch? fed?
What?!
WHAT?!?!?!?
TELL ME!!!
i feel like it’s kinda unfair to lump anarchist in with the rest of that stuff lol
Yeah, fair, I kinda regretted posting that shortly after, well, posting it (I got distracted immediately afterwards of course lol)

ahem thisisliterally1984
I saw a camera at Otakon today and it really felt like 1984.
This has been going on for a while now but its absolutely dire seeing companies on the pride parade. Fuck you mean Takeaway needs a boat? Let them not abuse their employees first.
My local library has barely any Marx, so I’m looking for other fun things to read, any ideas?
If you haven’t read it already Wretched of the Earth by Fanon.
every classmate in my high school had that and I love that
edit: this would’ve literally been during the very early 2010s, FYI
I had not watched a movie for more than a year and yesterday i decided to open up Netflix, and chose the first thing there. The lady in cabin 10 or smt like that, it’s like a boring Glass Onion clone. Not 10 mins in and it tries to whitewash the Guardian as honest journalism and has a mention of brave kurdish women, also
spoiler
literally every guy was a villain and every woman was dope.
I watched The Death of Robin Hood last night and it was much better than I was expecting.
Ah, I should watch that.
Still aim to watch the man who killed Don Quixote
the man who killed Don Quixote
yes you should but for the exact opposite reasons you would watch the death of robin hood.
I don’t know about either movie, just that the titles of each hint at the death of each classic hero from literature lol

R E A L
New Avatar game looks 'ight
Honestly, the Avatar movie kinda sucked though.
Honestly, nothing substantial happened.
Got back from Otakon!!

I wouldn’t ask any of those guys to help me move. Every one of them would be a waste of pizza.
I was told there would be posts
You misheard. There was a suggestion that there could be posts that leaned to the affirmative but there was no commitment overt or implied.
Sorry to jump topic a bit bit I cant believe Disney live action/realistic cgi remakes have been going on for so long. I mean, I guess they were making money so there was no reason for them to stop, but I for one don’t understand how they were making money tbh
isn’t there something about intellectual property law in the us that encourages them to do this?
I’m partially moving away from Hollywood bc of stuff like this. There’s gems from every country, yet people only watch things like this
Honestly, I feel like they were sort-of “buying time” for their next big idea or push because the movies themselves seemed like afterthoughts
(Just give some Disney fans something to chew on until the next big marketing push essentially)
I’m taking up bouldering and for some reason it has a really left wing audience. I have been to multiple locations and they were all plastered with lgbtq+ flags or anarchist and communist stickers.
Leftists yearn to be guerrilla fighters with bases in mountainous terrain that you can only reach by climbing.
What if you live in the Netherlands? Here’s only swamps and polders
Southern Limburg Guerilla Movement
true…
Oh. Climbing.
Bouldering?
