    Terminally ill patients are often on a regular regimen of narcotics and benzos. Being terminally ill can be a painful process. In addition to the anxiety of feeling your own death approaching.

    So they want folks on drugs, possibly too weak to stand, at work.

    they could very well be working remote from their hospital beds and earn their keep. that’s what remote work is even for.
