I don’t like him, but enlistment rates are up. Granted it happened during Biden’s term too.
Usually enlistment is driven by poverty. Food. Housing. Self defense training. Trade skill training when you’d otherwise be stuck at McDonald’s or Walmart. Vs homelessness or living in a trailer with 3 generations of your family and your crackhead uncle living in his trailer parked on the same property.
It is why, in part, there’s little government pushback on poverty. Military recruitment goes up.
There was also a surge after trump won. You can imagine who those people were.
I am an Army vet. I am disgusted by this whole charade.
