So, here is why I ask such a question. I haven’t been on reddit in 4 total years. 4 years since my last memorized banning site wide. I was a ban on sight user because any and every time I made an account, I was banned in minutes.
And the reasons why I was banned is varied but the common theme was, flame baiting, block swiping users making my experience miserable while dumping all over all of my posts. And since I wasn’t one to take it up the ass, I retaliated and after many skirmishes, I got banned permanently.
But about a month ago, I registered just out of the blue and was amazed that I was not banned right away. I lasted a whole week and still continued. I used the same email. My IP hasn’t changed. No VPN. Nothing.
So it made me wonder if they are letting off a little on shadow banning. Not that it makes a difference because Christ, the experience on reddit nowadays is ten times shittier than I remembered it. Repeated posts, even more stingier post requirements, stingier mods and the users are stupider.

I love that someone asked you to leave them alone, you were like “actually no means yes”, and you view violating consent as “not taking it up the ass”.
You don’t even know what I have dealt with. But if twisting contexts around to convince yourself things floats your boat contrary to how I remembered what happened then whatever.
