I had forgotten how good a radio mix could be, its on at work every day
I like the mellow mix on there, but that said its not exactly a better alternative in the context of this article. It may not be an algorithm based mix, but its definitely just a playlist. Ive played it at work many times for hours, and the size of the playlist is large but definitely has limits. It’s difficult to tell it isnt live selection until you’ve listened to it long enough. There are no actual DJs employed by them, as far as I have ever heard. So if anything, the station in this article is just transitioning to that model but with ads
