It’s not that binary. The majority of people do care and believe in climate change, but still rank it below more urgent sociopolitical problems. Unfortunately, this has a similar effect to outright denial in delaying most effective action to prevent it.
Government is what people vote for. Unfortunately majority of the people don’t care or believe in climate change.
