It goes beyond White Supremacists and One Nation. Dutton was a shithead too - bringing in groups like Advance Australia and refusing to stand in front of Indigenous flags the day after an ANZAC ceremonies welcome to country was interrupted by Nazis. Plenty of indigenous people fought in WW2 - and these shit heads would like us all to ignore facts like that.
The whole culture war on national flags was so pathetic and un-Australian. Its tour national flag dickhead, stand in front of it, be proud of what it represents and says about the corner of the world you live in This place ain’t perfect, but theres plenty of good.
It also doesn’t seem to have helped him in any meaningful way, since he’s gone. Hopefully for good.
