And I keep telling people to stop fucking using it. Its not that hard. I havent used them in a decade.
The issue is that they trained us to think that the meaning of “hard” isn’t “difficult to do,” and is instead “could be done even more easily.” We’ve been sold the lie that convenience is a benefit without drawbacks, and we believed it because the drawbacks take time to manifest.
The issue is that the real drawback of prolonged exposure to excessive convenience is a total lack of willingness to be inconvenienced even slightly, and that apathy now prevents us from lifting even a single finger to stop the corporations from destroying everything to satisfy their bottom line.
So damn true.
Luckily all my life ive always believed the hard way is the right way and there aren’t shortcuts to life. Often I’m wrong but I still do it the hard way because otherwise I’m lying to myself.
More than the US military?
Only the country? It had better be the biggest in the world or it’s not murican enough yet.
