    Yeah in fairness (and I’m not defending anybodies practices here, about 50 pence of that is fuel taxation, along with 20% on top.

    The actual cost to the consumer of the fuel itself is probably “only” around 70p.

    It’s kinda fucked to be fair - I’m all for reducing our reliance on car transport but the interim step of EVs is getting hosed as well now.
