    Makes sense. You have the veteran there for the rookie to sit behind for a year. Let them learn so they can learn mistakes from the sideline.

      Trust me, Mendoza will be playing sooner rather than later. Kirk is still good for brief stretches, but he doesn’t have the stamina to go a full season anymore. My sample size? Watching every Falcons game for the last two seasons.
