I have noticed a shorter usage of words that aren’t used much anymore
Social predator
Mattering
Importance
Prioritize
Courage
Desensitized
Taboo
Etc., etc., etc.
Is anyone else noticing this?
It seems in the last twenty years, the focus of our language has shifted.
Among other things.
What do you think?
(Also, id you have indeed come across these words several times recently, just know that that is NOT the point; just that I have noticed that there are certain words that aren’t used anymore.and I want to know if any of you have noticed that too)

“Desensitized” seems to have been replaced by “normalized”.

no im pretty sure most of those words are used a lot. except maybe “social predator”. not sure what that one even means.
