Oh bro when I was in high school I had this printed out on my wall with all my other insane posters. Theres a section for Arctic lizard alien people. It was great for getting quick ideas for a TTRPG session I didnt pay enough attention to making.
I almost feel nostalgia for this goofy era of fascist nonsense, but then I remember that this cult ruined lives and tore families apart, and I suddenly don’t anymore
Yeah, I’m torn. I think this stuff can be entertaining as long as you don’t take it seriously and it doesn’t descend into bigotry, but it descends into bigotry really easily. Like it’s amazing how many conspiracy theories have the bad guys be Jewish or Catholic or Satanist or communist. Even something as silly as David Icke’s lizard people is just anti-Jewish conspiracy theories where he replaced “Jew” with “lizard person”.
