What? Russia sent all of its obsolete armor into battle while pretending it wasn’t with the whole Turtle “Tank” disaster last summer and fall as part of russia’s last desperate land offensive push.
They tried it and failed as hard as they possibly could at it.
Also all russian armor is obsolete, even the brand new armored vehicles rolling off their assembly lines, the russian lineage of armored vehicle design is one bullshit design after another.
Russia has shown it is not capable of producing armor that is actually effective for decades and it is clearly a cultural thing.
No, there was a massive meltdown of tons actually old stuff as part of 2008 reform. Notall of it but tons of stuff was scrapped.
