A known to be a poorly designed intersection. Bike lanes that were removed years earlier over driver complaints. And an 87 year old driver, not under the influence of anything (except fucking time).

Being on a bike (e- or otherwise) makes the fact that the street used to have appropriate infrastructure for bikes but no longer does, relevant. Meanwhile, a rollerblader would’ve just been on the sidewalk to begin with.
As far as I’m concerned, every member of “Keep L.A. Moving” (the organization that pushed for removal of the bike lanes) has blood on their hands.
