    Having a client available is great; the biggest headache is the authentication handshake, as old clients like PPC Finder can’t talk the latest protocols or ciphers, and the newer SMB implementations often won’t fall back as far as thee old versions for security reasons.

    I’d love to see someone implement this as an OS level transport layer plugin though.
