Eight years later, Parivar has not only lost its cultural center, but has also had to pause core programs after being unable to secure public funding for two consecutive years. Rimi said Parivar is now seeking under $495,000 to rebuild on a smaller scale — down from an initial ask of $1.1 million or at least $675,000 — as they continue to diversify funding.
