At least in my state, for every MPG over 25 you get, a bit extra is added to the cost of the yearly vehicle registration fee. This year electric vehicles are charged a bit over $135. https://www.dmv.virginia.gov/vehicles/taxes-fees/highway-use

Discussion is encouraged but arguments are not. Don’t be aggressive and don’t argue for arguments sake.
No bigotry of any kind.
