More like AI is becoming commodified and the whole AI as a service business model is imploding as a result.
Microsoft now prefers AI models that are “three to six months behind.”
I think it’s more than that. I’m seriously considering giving some tasks to Gemini because Copilot has been so underwhelming for a while now.
I’ve been using deepseek r1, and find it works the best out of models I’ve tried online. For local, I find DeepCoder is pretty good. You can run it with ollama with
