The FA media server has a bot-protection, so the image was not imported into Lemmy and therefore not federated.
(Which is a shame, as it is a good image.)That must be something they have added recently because d.furaffinity.net links used to work well on Lemmy. But interestingly, in the Voyager app this post and its pic work just fine, while in the PWA they don’t.
It sucks, but I get why they have done it. I bet the amount of traffic they were getting via hotlinking is/was huge.

You can download the images, maybe downscale them to save server-space, and upload them directly to Lemmy.
