The EV’s should be cheaper. They don’t need a big block of thick steel to hold the controlled explosions necessary to make the oily beasts move. Just batteries and gears. It should be way cheaper. Like, go-cart cheaper.
Well they do need a battery management system (BMS) and the battery is not cheap, but overall, even with that, EVs can be cheaper.
