🇮🇷| Leaving NPT bill will likely not pass again at Iran’s parliament.
Another Iranian MP, Reza Ardastani, member of the National Security Commission says leaving the NPT should only happen when Iran has built an atomic bomb.
Otherwise, simply announcing this and having MPs discuss it creates additional costs that Iran will have to bear.
Even when leaving the NPT is announced, countries that have previously supported us, such as China and Russia, may distance themselves to some extent, and we will have to pay the price later.
If Iran wants to leave the NPT, it is better to first build an atomic bomb and then leave. Then, some countries will disagree with it, and after that, they will negotiate with Iran, as has happened with some other countries in the world.
