Do you guys have a nice app for tracking stuff at home, like stuff in storage bins, food pantries, etc…?
I used Grocy for a bit, but it was overly convoluted for simple pantry management in my opinion, and everytime I interacted with the developer he was a dick. It’s solid software though, so if those aren’t downsides it’ll definitely work for you.
Ultimately I found that home/pantry inventory is less useful that I initially thought it would be.

Yes! I use homebox for this, it’s not an app (although I believe it works as a PWA), but a self hosted docker service.
Yep homebox ftw ! You can even have a printed version of what’s in your boxes so even if no internet (post apocalyptic safe :D) you can still find your stuff !!
I have all my boxes in my attic neatly organised, numbered and separated in different regions in the room !
No more hassle opening every box when looking for something.

For things like collections, I’d probably try to find a specific app (like Gameye for video game collections)

I use paper… it’s cheap, renewable, accessable in a power outage and isn’t bundled with ads. copies can also be made for less then a penny

Not at all, my day was a good one.
I get annoyed at people who are too dependent on apps or digital means of performing tasks of which analog is far superior.
I’ve been a prepper since pre-y2k and while I use and can thrive digitally I’m ready for the entire system to come crashing down, whether from a Carrington Event / solar flare, Kessler Syndrome or from a military / terror related attack on infrastructure. IMO being too reliant on digital tracking is a silly, wasteful and unnecessary when the old tools already work great.
I’m rooting for the breakdown so society can be rebuilt.
