I might print and bring my receipts and a screenshot of the upgrade dialog thing cuz its not super clear it actually even lets you do that online even tho the cart dialog near the end says upgrade to executive and get x value you will have earned/saved from this large purchase.
Maybe they can still throw something sweet my way or wet my beak yet

Damn, this has been an expensive lesson. But i got what i wanted just with all the stuff and probably saved a fortune so ill take the L in good grace
Unless it’s something with a weird non-standard return policy, worst case scenario is that you could return it, get the membership upgrade, and re-buy it. If you point that out to the clerk, any reasonable one would just do the price adjustment to save the extra hassle.

When I got my executive membership it came with a coupon worth the cost of the membership so I did the big shop retroactively. They make it a pain to go from checkout to the membership desk.
Depends on how long ago… go to the member counter at the warehouse and ask, if they’re still open tonight. I made a $1000 purchase and got referred in-store, paid a monthly prorated upgrade fee and the purchases that day counted.
(Based on your other posts you might have made the purchase 2 days ago, likely no dice in that case).
