My small-ish American suburb celebrated a milestone anniversary this year, and closed down a local landmark for a special dinner on the actual anniversary. They sold 300 tickets at $350 a pop, for lukewarm dinner on a bridge. I know $350 (or even $700 per couple) isn’t $1000, but still it’s embarrassing to only sell six VIP tickets when contrasted with my rinky-dink town selling almost 20x in dollars than an “actual celebrity.”

I mean, it could be that most people would rather pay to not see or hear Kid Rock.
For being such staunch capitalists, they seem to not have a very good grasp of what it means when something doesn’t sell. You’re not in demand, bud.

He’s pissed because they’re “Trump supporters,” but they are “not very good human beings” because they are not spending their money on “VIP tickets” because “they value money more than anything in the world.”
Or maybe they have to spend their money on things like higher food prices, higher housing costs, higher utility rates, higher taxes, student loans, medical bills, gambling apps, drugs & alcohol, etc.
He’s just pissed off because HE wants their money “more than anything in the world,” and he just isn’t high enough on their list of money-spending priorities. Why? Because he sucks.
