Keep em dumb, barefoot, and in the kitchen, starving, and on the battlefield, popping out plenty to 13th amendment.

In case your serious, The Academy of Natural Sciences is not The Franklin Institute. They’re two totally separate museums with different focuses.

We also have The Science History Institute (formerly The Chemical Heritage Foundation, which I personally thought was a much cooler name) which is again a totally separate thing with a different focus. That’s a much smaller museum, and free, which is nice with some cool stuff. Maybe not worth it’s own trip, but worth stopping by if you have an hour or two to kill and are near Old City.

There’s a lot of cool museums in and around Philly, and while the big ones like the Franklin and the Art Museum definitely deserve the attention they get (and I would have personally put the Academy of Natural Sciences right up there with them and the Penn Museum,) it’s really worth checking out some of the others.
