I had to kick my chip habit when they started pushing $3.50+ a bag:( Kettle made it easier for me by changing the recipe for my former favorite, their jalapeño chips, into a ghost of their former glory. Now they just taste like sweet onion like all the other jalapeño flavored chips.
Yeah, I almost stopped when the good chips crossed some line a year or two ago. I can afford it but it just feels really expensive for what it is. It’s not a no-brainer anymore.

Been going to Aldi and they have chips $1.49-$2 a bag now. They’re pretty good too
I wish I had Aldi where I live:( I grew up on them so their brand has always tasted normal to me, plus I love the no bs layout (and the german chocolate selection). I miss their crunchy cheese curls. Cheetos brand has always tasted stale in comparison.

This is the actual inflation. It’s the effect of the never ending desire for the line to go up. Their excuse of “keeping up with inflation” is mostly a cover-up.
