Yeah, because we’re kind of hardwired to be sexual creatures, just as we’re hardwired to be social creatures. Reproduction is the point of life, after all.
Repression and uncomfortableness with pleasure, sex, kink, all these things, is largely a cultural construct devised and pushed by those in charge, and not necessarily a natural effect.

This actually works perfectly as a response because Freud was obviously wrong when he said it.
