When I have my grinder in my carry-on there is about a 70% chance I get my bag searched. No one seems to be trained on these as a luggage item.
Two things make me a little nervous when this happens.

They find my portable bidet (not pictured) and start waving it around asking questions about it

They come across my favorite travel scale with a picture of a plane and the word “bomber” on it (pictured) and start asking questions.

Trying to explain a 6 Degree of Freedom 3D mouse to TSA is complicated.
Great. Something I definitely don’t need and now kinda want.
A must have for CAD applications, but super handy in programs like Excel. Pan sheet up down left right and pull or push to zoom in or out, etc.
I wanted to bring a water filter one time. TSA saw a capped pipe (PVC with PVC end caps) with suspicous material inside (carbon block filter material). Turned out I knew one of the TSA agents, my town is small. So it wasn’t immediate “off to the hoosgow”. Once they saw what it looked like, and what it was they let me continue. And when I got to my hotel, the dang thing didn’t fit on the bathroom water filter, so I never used it anyway.
