Other way for me. I cant commit to 1hr at a time.

Give it me in 30m chunks and watch me lose 4 hours to it.

I like when they make them whatever length they feel is needed for that episode. Shows integrity or something.

I’m with you. That said, lately I feel like some series could either trim about 10 minutes or should add about 10 minutes.

12 episodes, 22 minutes each is plenty for me. Maybe throw in a few movies and a couple seasons and you got a good series.

IMO 40 mins is the sweet spot.

It’s long enough for an in depth story, and if there is more to tell then they can stretch it to 50 mins.

If they want to tell a big story, 2 episodes becomes a film, 3 becomes a long film.

And from a watcher’s perspective, it’s a lot easier to watch something that you can finish within an hour including start delays and maybe a snack after.

Watching the entire series out of order in vertically cropped short videos on my tablet while ignoring a stream on my monitor is obviously the correct answer here

Anyway, a drake meme is as good of an excuse as any to post https://inv.nadeko.net/watch?v=IZjbTQFJyzc

15-20 episodes at 30 minutes each is ideal for me.

Drama with 5 episodes, 59 to 71 minutes each is god tier.

I prefer one 90 minute drama.
