One that I did years ago was a traditional jack o lantern but I had a smaller pumpkin that I put in its mouth like it was eating it. For extra sauce you can draw with a sharpie a look of fear on the smaller pumpkin
Just channel your inner child and then take a couple shots of whisk(e)y and have at it. Something will emerge.
Debian logo. Bonus points if you also post the finished pumpkin to some Debian communities.
I would do the Linux Mint logo. I used to run the Debian version, so not so far off.
