I see people at their limits not doing what they really want slowly breaking psychologically everywhere.

BUI would solve soo many issues and would reduce cost on social help enormously (as now every money spent on individuals has to be checked, approved etc, costing itself more than the amount money going out to help the person in need).

And it would boost creation of small businesses (especially for people not coming from rich families) as the initial money stock needed to start the business is lower.

I think, a country that introduces BUI will increase its value on the world market…

How long will take? How many burnouts will it need? How many suicidal people does it take? How many market collapses caused by monopoly or undersupply do we endure before we change something?

How do we support people who loosing jobs because of automation, robotics and AI?

BUI would a way to reduce harm on this capitalist world, can we please finally see that?

Never forget: the system is working as intended. Unfortunately. Costs are high, because an incredibly small, undemocratic Elite keeps them high.

I live in Austria and Vienna, the capital, has about 80,000 empty apartments. That’s 4 times more than needed to house EVERY SINGLE HOMELESS PERSON IN AUSTRIA.

As long as we keep allowing individuals to become infinitely rich (and thus powerful) nothing will change. We need to tax the shit out of them and socialize and democratize big businesses.
