The reason people noticed is they asked ChatGPT instead of using Google Translate like a normal person and they left in the “Sure! The line in that language says this” part. Ditto for the background text.
It’s super janky and should never have shipped, but the “spitting in the face of” thing is way out of proportion. I say as “international audience”.
