• RuTracker and Ziperto are the main places I get Switch NSPs from. They’re both really good about it. Some Ukrainian guy on RuT has so many damn Switch games and he’s really good about keeping the update files up-to-date too. Very pleased with Switch piracy right now.

Switch2 will probably fuck this up with embedded Denuvo or something.

Switch piracy was jump started by people finding a jailbreak exploit on day 1, maybe the universe will punish Nintendo for its hubris by doing that again.

$90 for a game that came out in 2017. I don’t even count this as a remaster.

I played tears of the kingdom for free because I got better resolution and framerate on PC with Switch emulation. Breath of the Wild (without the DLC) is even easier to play for free at high framerates and resolutions because Wii U emulation is far more efficient than emulating Switch.

It’s been hilarious watching fanboys falling over each other to say how ridiculous a $90 price tag is for games, and how dumb everyone is for believing it will be the case.

I know I’m not the target demographic for Nintendo, but even $50 is more than my own nostalgia is worth.

it’s been really cringe seeing people try and say video games for 90$ is right and in line for inflation or that “well durr games used to be around the same price back in the 90s when looking at inflation!”
