What about the remaster of Nocturne?

Looking for a good SMT game to play

I found the story to be quite bad in 5, but I haven’t played the second version. 4 has a really good storyline, but 4A is superior when it comes to game mechanics. Strange journey is fun and has Doom vibes

    Yes.

Nocturne’s remaster is mid if you’ve played the original but if its your first time playing, this won’t matter. It is mid because of things like them choosing to use the compressed OST despite a HD version existing on Atlus’ fucking youtube channel. Things like this do not actually matter in terms of gameplay.

Both are great, Nocturne (original or remaster) is the more interesting and artful of the two, but it is also way less modern design-wise. If you don’t feel like being a little frustrated by the game, you should go with V instead.
