1990, technical death metal with technical thrash from Florida, USA. Notable release for its use of keys, whether it’s for atmosphere or a backing instrument, they definitely give off this sci-fi vibe.

Love to see more Tampa rep in here, particularly for one of the coolest albums to ever come out of the city (and that’s saying a LOT). The only band to really seamlessly capture that sci-fi atmosphere as well for me is Vektor who are CLEARLY inspired by this album (it’s not subtle).
I was thinking as I made this post “this reminds me a shitload of Vektor” so that’s pretty damn cool haha.
I found them very cool and interesting when they came out with this. They couldn’t nail it to 100% but the approach was very original.
