The Trump administration has imposed sanctions on one of the UN's top advocates for Palestinian rights, Francesca Albanese, accusing her of "spewing unabashed antisemitism".

    Huh she has the same surname as our PM, reading this article is really difficult with that on my mind.

    In a statement, Mr Rubio said Ms Albanese had “spewed unabashed antisemitism, expressed support for terrorism, and open contempt for the United States, Israel, and the West”.

    But open contempt for the West is all that the US and Israel has shown us?

      You have to decode the newspeak:

      • Antisemitism: Saying or thinking that Israel committing genocide is bad.
      • Support for terrorism: Saying or thinking that ordinary Palestinian people should be able to live, rather than being slaughtered indiscriminately.
      • Open contempt for the United States, Israel, and the West: Refusing to accept their upside-down language and morality when it comes to Israel’s genocidal activities.
