As a poor person that can’t afford anything to begin with, I haven’t noticed anything.
I think it’s a touch overblown for this month but it’ll be more visible in the coming months since production and shipping times are so long to get through the supply chain.
They actually saw a slightly adjusted down CPI-U for meat/eggs -0.2 and dairy -0.1 for may to June 2025.
However overall from May to June Food was up 0.3 Energy was up 0.9 (definitely will be interesting to watch as we get to the colder months for natural gas)
I’m glad I understood what was to come and bought anything I need back in like January and prepared for this shit. Probably still won’t be enough preparation either
