Nobody at Gizmodo has ever worked in the automotive industry. It’s absolutely amazing how far automotive adhesives have come. I think many people would be shocked to learned how many parts on their car are “simply glued” together.

But it has to be the right adhesive for the material, then prepped and applied right. This clearly wasn’t one of those things.

Yeah, there’s even STRUCTURAL adhesives. Like, not for body panels, but important joints for it to continue to successfully be called a car.
