Remnant: From the Ashes was my first dive into a soulslike game and I fell in love with the grind of it, then followed up with playing Remnant 2.

But I hate Melee combat and it seems soulslikes are usually focused on it.

Is there any that focus on ranged combat or have viable builds for ranged?

Thanks!

check out monster hunter (world/rise/wilds) and hop on bow, light bowgun, or heavy bowgun. expect a steep learning curve, but it shouldn’t be bad if you’re used to soulslikes, monhun is just precious with iframes, so it’s a lot tighter to iframes through moves than it is in a typical souls/like

if you pick it up and end up needing a hand, hit me up! always happy to teach people how to hunt

MH isn’t really a soulslike. Lethal combat where you need to learn the boss and stamina dodge roll sure but that’s the extent of it.

It’s all boss fights all the time, and the difficulty is more about repeating hunts to get better rather than to be able to do it at all.

Great series though and will probably be appreciated by a souls fan.
