Crime isn’t legal. But prosecutions and plea bargains aren’t either right now.

Lots of courts are just gonna pause everything is settled, and I suspect US prosecutors are gonna sit on charges for a few months.

I expect to see some bullshit charges on minor offenses just to get people arrested, but prosecutors holding back on the major charges until this is sorted out.

On the flip side, I can see the Trump admin taking this opportunity to charge a bunch of his cronies with federal crimes in New Jersey and having them tried and convicted quickly so the rulings can be thrown out when her appointment is ruled illegal.

If crime is legal, are they still crimes?
