I have a picture of myself sleeping on the floor next to my dog on the day I adopted him, but it’s actually staged since my grandma didn’t know how to use my cell phone to take pictures so she had to wake me up and then told me to pretend that I was still sleeping. I wasn’t planning to adopt a dog (I didn’t even like dogs) but I was at a shelter with my friend that day and one of the dogs there started freaking out when I just walked past his cage. For some reason I decided that meant I had to take him home with me. I wonder how selective he was with that behavior…
