First of all, congrats for going open-source! I know a lot of people asked for it, so I hope this will contribute to more Lemmy users giving Summit a try.

The post mentions a potential exploit regarding inline media being used to access the user’s IP. I’m not tech savvy, but another developer in the comments acknowledged the issue and pushed a hotfix for their app to patch the issue, so I was wondering if Summit could do the same.

To make things clear, I know there’s already an option to display inline media as links. I’m asking for an option that changes the behaviour of inline media in private messages only.
