Thank you. I have been looking for just this to prove to Trump people in my orbit that it’s unfurling exactly like they shrugged off and claimed it wouldn’t.
It’s so obvious that he knows he can manipulate the orange man through flattery. He’s announcing it to the world as a sign of how much control he has over our top leader. And our stupid idiot is too stupid and idiotic to realize it. We are shamed on the world stage.
Gifts to public officials are property of the United States if they’re above a certain value so it’s a good thing fascist art is always worthless. We, the people, don’t have to collectively own what’s no doubt the worst painting seen since Saddam Hussein’s mansions were seized.
I’m calling it now.Trump will sell it at auction as a fundraiser.

This all sounds eerily familiar…
There are three outcomes here:
- Trump disregards any security measures and put the portrait in the Oval Office.
- Trump can only be convinced to put the portrait outside the Oval Office, he can’t be convinced to put it outside The White House, still no security meassures.
- Trump gets convinced to have the CIA/NSA deal with it after obviously accepting it.
Personally I am 50/50 on either 1 or 2…
