100% agree, thank you for saying this. It’s kinda crazy how protected Stranger Things is from criticism, despite being the most blatant example of Netflix milking a cash cow for every last drop.
It’s almost like there’s another kind of nostalgia influencing opinion, which is a nostalgia for when Netflix wasn’t awful. And since this show was one of its big hits back when everyone still agreed Netflix was good, people don’t want to admit that it is now representative of everything they hate about streaming services.
