It is a mistake to think that Benjamin Netanyahu is solely responsible for Israel’s genocide or that removing him would bring it to an end. To win support for war, he has mobilized large swathes of Israeli society, from liberals to the far right.
It would be nice if that was sufficient. Jacobin’s political allies in the US and Europe are widely considered allies of the international communist movement. People are so clueless they think that Jacobin sometimes publishing someone they like nullifies the “op” aspect of it. Of course I view that as making it even worse.
