Some shows have a certain mood or the ability to get you into a certain mood related to one of the seasons. I’ve been rewatching White Lotus and all that sunshine, beaches and ocean get me to a very summery mood. I’ve heard Gilmore Girls described as a very autumny show that makes you want to curl under a blanket with a cup of tea. What are other examples of shows like this?

All 7 seasons of Avatar are.

    • Water is cooly colored. Technically it’s summer/winter, depending on the hemisphere, but very breezy and ‘cozy’ feeling.

    • Earth takes place in spring and is more colorful and earthy. Characters are getting their footing.

    • Fire Takes place in the summer and is hot/tropical. Very… fiery, lots of heat and pressure.

    • Air Has late fall vibes. Urban noir mood with colored trees turning fall colors, then snow blanketing the city.

    • Spirits is bitterly cold winter, pretty much all in ice and kinda magical, except for the hint of spring at the end.

    • Change is spring. Energy is coming back to the characters, it’s bright out. Trees are green, but there’s a lot of vivid rocky/sandy terrain.

    • Balance, is well, out of balance, but I think that’s the point. The protag’s scenes are deliberately unsaturated and dark, as if disconnected from the turbulent summer.

    Aside from that:

    • Bloodlines smells like the Florida wet season. Speaking from experience, there are only two seasons in Florda.

    • The Fallout TV show (at least season 1) feels whimiscally summery.

    • Eureka diabetically and hilariously summery

    • Batman: TAS, some other DCAU, and Samurai Jack are incredibly stylized and seasonal feeling, but its more per episode.
