I’m glad none of my military service took place while Trump was in office. If they had told me to participate in a military parade for his birthday, I would have ended up being court-martialed.

I think you misunderstood. I would get court-martialed if I was told to march in a parade on his birthday or any other president’s birthday. That is some Stalin or Kim Jung Un level state propaganda bullshit and I would refuse to participate. The US military has been doing evil shit singe the country started. I was in it for a paycheck not an ideology. Capitalism makes broke people and broke people can’t always afford to pick and choose their jobs. The kids have to eat.
