I’m curious if it’s as common in the younger generations as it appears in the old. Are young people attending church in the same numbers in the US? Perhaps there was less lead in the gasoline for them.

      It is.

People want to belong. If you can pay money to belong… that’s an easy way to belong.

Religion has been on a steady decline by percentage of population in the US since the 70s. Christians declined from 91% in 1970 to 82% in 2000 to 74% in 2020, but the actual number of Christians overall increased from roughly 187 mil to 246 mil. However, non-religious rose from 5 to 20% in that same time frame (from 10.5 mil to 65 mil).

Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don’t end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.
